TEHRAN -- Deputy health minister for food and pharmaceutical affairs Abolhassan Ahmadiani said here on Saturday that changes in forex rates next year will not lead to any hikes in the prices of medicines next year.

Ahmadiani told reporters that changes in the forex rates will be tangible in banking operations and government accounts but will not affect prices of pharmaceutical products.

He said efforts should be made to provide the public with high quality medicines at real but reasonable prices.
